Biosignatures is a spin out from Nonlinear Dynamics, a North East UK based company which has been writing research software for scientists working in healthcare research for 21 years. Over this time, staff at Nonlinear gained key insights into how to reliably run proteomics – and crucially, built the technology to support these ideas. It is these core competencies that Biosignatures was created to exploit by discovering patterns of proteins that are diagnostics of disease.

Milestones in Biosignatures’ history:

  • 2004 - Original Supervised learning Tiger project started
  • 2006 - v1 Tiger released & First double blind Tiger CTA project with Novartis
