In this study, part funded by the Strategic Health Authority and working with clinicians and researchers from the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Newcastle University, Biosignatures are hoping to discover a signature that will predict the presence of thyroid cancer. The primary goal of the study is to derive molecular diagnostic signatures that that can distinguish patients with recurrent / residual thyroid cancer from those with no residual disease.
