In this study, part funded by One North East and working with clinicians from the Freeman and Sunderland Royal Hospitals, Biosignatures has discovered and refined three diagnostic signatures from a large scale Urology study commenced early in 2009. The signatures, for renal, prostate and bladder cancer, are derived from large numbers of patient samples processed using strict and rigorous experiment design and QC protocols. The signatures were created using Biosignatures’ unique Tiger technology. A visual representation of this process is shown below:
